No, really...we're 'sponsible!

So, that is Teddy, Garrett, and Mark playing BurnOut on XBox 360 while Makenna and Emily look on. We did babysitting tonight and there were about 2 youths to every kid, at least. But still, the picture is funny.

Anti-Valentine's Day

This is the week I hate the most. Thursday is the abominable day. I loathe it all.

See?

So, in case you don't understand my loathing of Valentine's, I did a survey on MySpace that was labeled the "Love Day Survey!" I removed that title and put something else in. I don't remember what.

1. Are you single or taken?
I'm single.

2. Chocolate or flowers?
Roses, por favor

3. Will you do anything special for Valentines Day?
No. I hate that stupid holiday.

4. Do you like anyone?
Yeah.

5. Were you dating anyone last Valentines?
No.

6. What would be your dream Valentines date?
Just chilling with the boyfriend that i don't have.

7. Do you make a big deal about Valentines?
No. I hate it.

8. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
Yes. In like 2nd grade.

9. Would you ever write someone a love letter?
If I had a person to write one to

10. Do you believe in Cupid?
Yes. Also, the tooth fairy, easter bunny, santa claus, and the guy out there that is perfect for me.

11. Do your parents give you presents on Valentines?
Yes.

12. Do you still send out Valentines cards?
No

13. Do you like candy hearts?
Yes

14. What is something you got last Valentines?
A snow day.

15. Is Valentines depressing?
Yes. I hate it..

16. How do you feel about PDA?
It's gross.

17. How is your love life going?
Are you seriously asking me this? It's about as dead as Bambi's mom!

18. Have you ever been dumped on Valentines?
Yes, thanks for bringing up painful memories, you jerk.

19. How many roses would you want?
Any.

20. Will you have a boyfriend/girlfriend next Valentines?
It's in two days. My chances are slim.

WTM Special Report

Famed hamster, Diego, AKA "The Nasty Hamster", was found unconscious in his cage Wednesday night. Due to great amounts of rain in his native Ohio area, a funeral and burial was put on hold until conditions improved. Friends and family of the hamster, including his loving care taker, Michael, were alerted of Diego's mortality and were deeply saddened at his passing, although he was mean, nasty, and anti-social. On Thursday night, Diego was being prepared for burial when Michael's mother noticed that rigor-mortis had not set in, and the hamster had not assumed room temperature. No palpable pulse was found, and a stethoscope was retrieved to do tests on the rodent. Examiners observed a slight movement in the whiskers and then in the nose. Within about 5 minutes, the hamster was moving his feet and head, and enjoying a light meal of Cheerio's and Hamster Yogurt Treats. Onlookers were amazed. Diego was detained for observation at First Parental Dormitorium Roomus, and experts concluded that he was, in fact, not dead, but rather had just been hibernating.

A similar case was reported last winter, when Diego's brother, Baby Jaguar, was found unconscious in his cage after a cold night. He nearly froze to death and though he had been a very mean and vicious hamster prior to his near-death-experience, he became very humane and loving after his treatment. Experts supposed that the similar experience would tame Diego, and for about 24 hours he seemed to be recovered. However, after being released, it has been revealed that Diego is just as mean and nasty as before.

My new theme song

Dad thinks this song is dumb. But I, having fears that most others don't have, thought it was hilarious. Most people think, "Oh you're joking about being scared of them." Actually, no. They seriously terrify me. They were the only bad part of NYC. They were as big as chickens there. *shudder*

Note:If you are involved with PETA and/or Animal Rights, you may not like this song. But I don't care

PPF...Ecky!

Past- The anatomy test was awful. Icky. Icky. Or rather, Ecky. However, my studying in the non-clique this morning prompted Nikki to ask everyone in her path if she could touch their sternocleidomastoid. Just because she thought it was a fun word. And she has no regard for what others find as awkward. Thus is her Nikkiness.

Present- I'm studying for my psych test which is on Thursday. Sigmund Freud was a dirty old man, let me just say.

Future- I have HOP tonight. Yayness. I less than three HOP. Except for that Alison and I often have to be told to zip it and pay attention. Okay, maybe "often" is a stretch. But we have fun.

Speaking of people in HOP, I am going on yet another excursion to Mansfield on Saturday. I'm getting THE DRESS!!! And this time, Alison is going with us. This should be fun.

*sinister and evil laugh*

I have weird friends....

So, I have a few friends who have a video production company. Because of this, they always end up making videos for English projects. Last year, they made a parody of Lord of the Flies. This year, Huck Finn. It's hilarious. To me anyway. And it's my blog so that's all that matters. At least stick it out until Luke's dad starts singing. That's worth the whole thing.

Mid-Winter Preview

While I wait to get the rest of the videos from Mid-Winter, because some stuff just requires visual aids, here's a little preview. This is me, Brittany, and Ratchol on the way to Denison this morning. We had way too much fun. I also have no rhythm.

The Husband Store

The store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:

WELCOME TO THE HUSBAND STORE!! !
You may visit the store ONLY ONCE! There are six
floors and the attributes of the men increase as the
shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a
catch... you may choose any man from a particular
floor, or you may choose to go up one more floor, but
you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
Happy Shopping!!!!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband...
On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1: These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2: These men have jobs, love the Lord, and like
kids.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3: These men have jobs, love the Lord, love
kids and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4: These men have jobs, love the Lord, love
kids, are drop-dead good looking and help
with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5: These men have jobs, love the Lord, love
kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the
housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign
reads:

Floor 6: You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There
are no men on this floor. This floor exists
solely as proof that women are impossible to
please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband
Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

Elfs!

I made an Elf-Yourself video of me and Mistie, Rachel, and Deana (3 of my best friends).

It is amazing.

Also, look at the white death!

If you are mean to people....

2 things may happen...

This
Or this...(which is probably much worse)

Those things just struck me as funny today. I don't know why. My exploding ear is messing with my judgement.

Faith Anderson: why not just walk i heard that is your familys new mode of transportation
Rebecca Ryan: umm...no
Rebecca Ryan: bit far to walk
Faith Anderson: not really not if you really really loved me and wanted to spend time with me
Rebecca Ryan: or if i was even moderately in shape

Faith Anderson: you never know what you could accomplish if you would but only try try try dear one
Rebecca Ryan: i also have vbs in an hour
Rebecca Ryan: sorry
Faith Anderson: well who is more important your poor poor aunt who only wants someone to go aswimming with her or your vbs

Rebecca Ryan: obviously dory disagrees
Rebecca Ryan: you could take sassy? (Her miniature pinscher)
Faith Anderson: well dory is not here now is she i didn't think so and sassy only likes to get wet and then get out
Rebecca Ryan: midnight? (her pug, which she hates)
Rebecca Ryan: if you watched finding nemo, she would be..
Rebecca Ryan: indy?(her collie)

Rebecca Ryan: and hoppy and rabby!(The rabbits)
Rebecca Ryan: there's a pool party
Faith Anderson: no she would only be in the movie not here where i needed here to be. indy hates water with a passion and that would be one way to get rid of harly because she would be halfway around the world by the time her front feet hit the water
Rebecca Ryan: rofl

Oh dear lord....

Remember that pickles post I did? Apparently it was a special on Maury about bizarre problems and phobias. Look at this one. It was a little cruel, but funny. I will have to post more of these later in the week. It's hilarious.
