I'm a missionaries helper.....

This song was a long time joke between my parents and the Frakes. Don't ask why, because I will embarass myself by not knowing the answer. Here's why I titled my post as such. While in DC a few weeks ago, I felt a HUGE calling there. It is my favorite city in the world, so it can't be a coincidence that I got the oppurtunity to go and do missions there can it? So, maybe that's the reason. So, I was talking to my dad about this and he told me that at 17, I can apply to get my ministerial license. I have taken great thought to this and I think I am going to go for it. Not only will I have a good head start on the whole missions thing, I get a bunch of good perks, like the right to perform funerals. So, I am going to pray about it some more and see what I can find in the reading department of the requirements. Leave me some comments to let me know what you think.

I think you should go for it. 1) the required reading is interesting and not textbooky 2) It may also get you preferred clergy parking at hospitals (at least here in KY) 3) Not every one who has a ministerial license is necessarily called to be a preacher. 4) However, not every preacher necessarily has to have a license to be validated as a minister (my husband for example, is obviously an awesome preacher, but still working on the reading) 5) When a patient dies on you, you can offer one stop shopping and bury them.

I am KIDDING on that last one. KIDDING.

Well, Liz, if it turns out being something serious (the wheezing) you know where to go for your one stop shopping needs.

Call 1-800-Rebecca
