Asalaam Aleikum

So, this is me sporting the amazing hijab and abaya.. I look fabulous, if I do say so myself.

These are the seven in my class that dressed up. There were a few more in other classes.

This is my hand painted with henna. Actually, it's brown marker because henna is expensive. But the design is henna. I did it myself.

This is the Middle Eastern food. SOMEONE BROUGHT HUMMUS!! It wasn't extraordinarily good, because it was store-bought and a little light on the tahini, but I'll take what I can get.

And this is a picture for which Rachel is going to kill me. Look at her cleaning up the mess she made with couscous. For shame.
